Located
one mile east of the barn and ranch, our motel
and campground, "The Ranch Inn" sits
on a little oasis of grass, trees, firepits and
over 1/2 mile of year-around, river-front fishing,
swimming and tubing. We are also handicapped
accessible and very pet
friendly. We have a "Petting
Zoo" on sight for the children to enjoy, which includes Miniature
Horses.
Just down the road a piece, is the township of "Lava Hot Springs", home of Idaho's world famous hot springs. This area is famous for it's rendezvous potentials; family reunions, soaking in the hot pools, swimming/tubing the river, and the swimming pool and water slides, including an indoor swimming pool that is open year-around.
Other recreational activities include; fishing, hunting, riding trails, snowmobiling, golfing, skiing, and horse country; horse shows, Marsh

Also, twenty minutes east is "Geyser Park", the only captive geyser in the world, located in Soda Springs, Idaho. There are also many other great places to see that's close by.

We are 1/2 hour from the Pocatello, Idaho - Airport, 1 1/2 hours from the Idaho Falls, Idaho - Airport, 1 1/2 hours from the Ogden, Utah - Airport, and 2 1/2 hours from the Salt Lake City, Utah - Airport. It is a straight shot from either direction, south or north. On US I-15, take exit #47, at McCammon, Idaho - head east on HWY #30, headed towards Lava.
The motel is located on the river-side of the Portneuf River. There is a large sign in front that reads,
